Symbian Freaks Reveals Hidden Nokia Nseries
Screensavers From the Nokia N95!!
Thanks to the Kev and our forum section today I have realized that are few cool flash based hidden screen savers on the Nokia N95 and I have decide to make it available for wider auditorium by porting the guide to the front page.
Anyway, first of all, if you haven’t already got it you’ll need some 3 rd party file manager that has access to the ROM (Z:) drive.
There are numerous solutions out there but in my personal opinion y-browser and x-plore are the best solutions at the moment, actually to be honest x-plore is simply the best file browser for the S60 3rd edition, it is the fully functional shareware application and you should give it a try. It indeed requires some more time to get to use it but after that period you’ll be more than satisfied with this great piece of soft.
So no matter which one you have choose just get and install it on your phone if you already didn’t installed it already. Also if you are using the X-plore be sure that you have enabled the Showing of the ROM drive and the Hidden files in the settings.
Then run your favorite file browser and scroll down and go into the ''Resources'' folder, if you are using the y-browser it it will take some time as it has to look at 1643 things in that folder but x-plore will reveal its content in a minute.
Once loaded in scroll down to the ''skins'', you will see five folders, first named '101f84b9', second '10281cc2', third '10281cc3' fourth '2006f20' and finally the fifth '2006f21'.
You can completely ignore the very first one as it has nothing in but a completely irrelevant .mbm file and we are only looking for the content hidden inside the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th folder.
Open any of them and u will see a flash file (swf) extension and you can simply click on it to view it, if you like just hit Edit and than Copy, then all you need to do is keep going back until you get to the dive letters again, once done you can either put it on the phone memory (C), or the memory card (E).
You need to click on the drive letter you want to put the, select the destination folder paste it inside. Sure with x-plore it will be a much easier because you can mark a files from different folders and move it altogether with a copy command
Once when you have done that you then set as the any other screensaver by going to the main menu of the phone, then 'tools' then 'settings' then 'general' then 'personalization' then 'themes' then 'power saver' and choose 'animation. Than hit 'options', 'change'. 'animation file' choose the one you want and your done.
Of course if you are the lazy one or you just don’t have enough time to follow this guide I have extracted all 4 screensavers for you and put into single package so just get it and enjoy in this cool Nseries screensavers.
..:[ get it right here ]:..
Enjoy in, the latest tweak from SF team ;)
