New Widget For Symbian
5th Ed Lets You IMDb On The Go

The Internet Movie Database, one of the most useful sites on the web if you like movies is now easily accessible on Symbian’s 5th Ed devices and you can get all the information that the IMDB website provides on your phone with eye-candy and easy-to-use interface, without having to use your browser.

It works pretty much the same way the actual website does and allows you to quickly search for people or movie titles. The data may be a little patchy at times – this is because of the way it’s being gathered.

As IMDb does not have an API that would allow you to create apps like this the data has to be scraped from the IMDb.com website. This is achieved by the service built by Jeff... .. .

An Improved Dual Panel
Calendar Widget For The Nokia N97

I made a homescreen widget for my Nokia N97 with a feature I was missing and I thought it might be useful to some folks over here.

It is a calendar events list in dual panel mode with the following 10 events of your calendar from the current time on. It's made to replace the default Nokia's calendar widget which is really dumb and not very informative.

I like to have my important information with just a glance to my mobile, so I'm reminded more frequently of what's "coming next" this week/day. It's made of 2 widgets: ComingNext & ComingNext B, each showing the first 5 and second 5 elements in your calendar. You can use only 1 if you need the widget spa... .. .

iSearch For S60 5th Edition
Freeware Web Search Launcher!

The widgets experts over at moubail.com have just released jet another free and finger friendly widget for Nokia devices based on the 5th edition of the S60 platform.

SameGame is a classic puzzle game featuring tile removal originally released under the name Chain Shot! in 1985 by Kuniaki Moribe (Morisuke).
