WinXP Restart for S60
System utility for quick and automaed shutdown
 Do you want your phone to be turned off automatically?
You would like to fall asleep when you are just listening to your favourite music or maybe even watching evening television shows on your DVB-H enabled Smartphone but you just don’t want to be surprised with an empty battery in the morning!?
If answer is yes than I think I’ve just found a simple and yet powerful solutions for you. WinXP Restart is a handy system utility that will help you to automatically shutdown, power off or reboot your phone at schedule time you specify.
Further more it has the really nice XP like UI, mouse cursor and even XP shutdown splash screen and cool XP shutdown sound. So if you want to shutdown your phone after a specified time, WinXP Restart is the software you are looking for. The setup is very easy and all you need to do is to set the time and choose do you want to shutdown or restart your phone.
There are three different buttons, Red (shutdown), Green (restart) and grey (reset\exit) with the pull down menu. The first option is for instant reset while other option allows you to shutdown phone after the specified period of time and you can choose between following options, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes, 2 hours, 3 hours and 4 hours.
After selecting the desired time press you have to press the Red or Green button to start the timer and restart or shotdown the phone. If you want reset the timer just press the Gay button and set again. Don’t exit application, it has to be active in background so just minimize it and leave it the hide background mode.
Although there are already lot of software for restarting the S60 phones, this is the most powerful shutdown utility available so far because it allows the delayed shutdown, it has the nice and unique UI, it is simple to use, it consumes very less memory and the best of all it is freeware application.
The application is developed in Python and of course requires the latest version for proper work ;o)
There is an also the newer, improved version with few more options but it is not translated jet, but I’ll inform you over at our forum section once when it will be available.
