PhoNetInfo Gets An Update
System Information Utility For 3rd & 5th Ed
PhoNetInfo is the free and lightweight system utility that was created to list all of the information regarding your phone, including detailed phone and network information such as firmware version; IMSI; IMEI; SIM card and battery status; WLAN IP, MAC, MTU and speed, Bluetooth MAC and device class; network mode, name, signal strength, (cell) ID and country code; CPU speed, type and architecture; RAM and ROM; running tasks; MMC & SD Card; supported camera formats, etc.
PhoNetInfo is a complete solution for power users who needs detailed information about the phone system.
It has the simple user interface so it is very easy for power as well as non power user to get complete knowledge of his mobile phone and analyze it completly. Software has capability to describe the phone hardware, software as well as active nework information.
PhoNetInfo has been developed by Patrick Frei and is natively compatible with all Symbian S60 3rd edition mobile phones but I’ve just test it on Nokia 5800 and I can confirm that it works on 5th Edition devices as well although it is not optimized for touch controls and you’ll have to use a stylus for switching between all the different tabs.
So, in short it is fully functional on 5th Ed devices but isn’t finder friendly and therefore is a bit difficult to control. However if you need a powerful system utility capable to extract all possible information about hardware and software it is highly suggestible to get it and test it.
Latest version of the PhoNetInfo is released as unsigned so in case your phone is not hacked or you are using 5800 you’ll need to sign it with open signed or any other method.
